Welcome to Our Campaign

A Kitisuru where every resident matters

Welcome to the official campaign platform of Oburenyi Harrison, prospective Member of County Assembly (MCA) aspirant for Kitisuru Ward, Westlands Constituency, Nairobi County, in the 2027 General Elections.

Our vision is to build a Kitisuru where every resident matters, every voice is heard, public resources are managed responsibly, and development serves the needs of the entire community.

Inspired by the spirit of the Linda Mwananchi Movement, we believe in leadership that listens, serves, empowers, and remains accountable to the people.

“Kitisuru belongs to all of us, and its future should be shaped by the people who call it home.”

Our fundamental principle

This is a journey towards inclusive representation, responsible leadership, and meaningful development. Together, let us work towards a ward where opportunity is accessible, community concerns are heard, and public service delivers real value to residents.

Our Three Key Pillars

Built on three priorities

Our campaign is built around three fundamental priorities: Equality & Accountability, Empowerment, and Security & Development. These pillars reflect our commitment to responsive leadership and a better future for every resident of Kitisuru.

Our promise

Leadership that listens to the people, represents their interests, and remains answerable to them.

Pillar 01

Equality & Accountability

Fair representation. Transparent leadership. A voice for everyone.

Every resident deserves equal consideration, fair representation, and leadership that is accountable to the people it serves.

We will advocate for:

  • Inclusive representation

Listening to residents across estates, neighbourhoods, and communities, ensuring that diverse voices contribute to ward priorities.

  • Transparency and accountability

Promoting openness, responsible oversight, and accountability in county affairs and the use of public resources.

  • Meaningful public participation

Encouraging residents to take an active role in decisions affecting their communities and livelihoods.

  • Responsive leadership

Maintaining accessible communication channels through which residents can raise concerns, share ideas, and seek assistance.

  • Equitable development

Advocating for the fair distribution of development opportunities and public services across Kitisuru.

Our vision

A Kitisuru where residents have greater opportunities to develop their potential, build sustainable livelihoods, and contribute to the growth of their communities.

Pillar 02

Empowerment

Unlocking potential. Creating opportunities. Strengthening livelihoods.

A stronger Kitisuru begins with empowered people, thriving local enterprises, and opportunities for residents to improve their lives.

We will champion initiatives that promote:

  • Youth empowerment

Advocating for access to skills training, mentorship, entrepreneurship programmes, and employment opportunities.

  • Women’s economic empowerment

Supporting initiatives that strengthen women-led businesses, community groups, and income-generating activities.

  • Small business development

Promoting a supportive environment for traders, entrepreneurs, and local enterprises to grow and succeed.

  • Skills and vocational training

Encouraging partnerships with training institutions and relevant organisations to equip residents with practical, marketable skills.

  • Community-based initiatives

Supporting programmes that improve livelihoods, strengthen community networks, and respond to the needs of vulnerable residents.

Pillar 03

Security & Development

Safer neighbourhoods. Better infrastructure. Sustainable development.

Every resident deserves a safe environment, reliable public infrastructure, and neighbourhoods that support a better quality of life.

We will advocate for:

  • Community safety

Working with residents, relevant security agencies, and other stakeholders to address local safety concerns and strengthen community cooperation.

  • Better roads and drainage

Advocating for improved access roads, effective drainage systems, and proper maintenance of public infrastructure.

  • Improved street lighting

Pushing for adequate lighting in appropriate public spaces to improve visibility, mobility, and community safety.

  • Clean neighbourhoods

Promoting effective waste management, sanitation, environmental awareness, and responsible waste disposal.

  • Access to essential services

Advocating for improved access to reliable basic services in collaboration with the relevant authorities.

  • Planned and inclusive development

Supporting responsible development that considers infrastructure capacity, environmental protection, accessibility, and residents’ needs.

Why Oburenyi Harrison?

Leadership that listens.
Representation that delivers.

Leadership is more than holding public office. It is about understanding people's challenges, listening to their concerns, bringing communities together, and pursuing practical solutions in the public interest.

Oburenyi Harrison seeks to champion a people-centred approach to representation, guided by the following values:

  • People-first leadership

Placing residents’ concerns, priorities, and aspirations at the centre of representation.

  • Integrity and accountability

Promoting ethical leadership, responsible oversight, and transparency in public affairs.

  • Accessibility and responsiveness

Maintaining open channels of communication and encouraging residents to engage with their representative.

  • Inclusivity and respect

Recognising the diversity of Kitisuru and ensuring that different communities have opportunities to be heard.

  • Action-oriented representation

Following up on residents’ concerns, advocating for practical solutions, and working through the appropriate county government processes.

We believe meaningful representation begins with listening and is strengthened by consistent engagement, responsible oversight, and a commitment to serving the public interest.

Our goal is to build a relationship with residents based on trust, open communication, and a shared determination to make Kitisuru better.

Our Vision for Kitisuru

A ward where everyone has a stake in progress

We envision a Kitisuru where every resident feels represented, communities participate meaningfully in public decisions, and development responds to the needs of the people.

  1. 01

Fair and inclusive representation for all residents.

  2. 02

Meaningful public participation in ward development priorities.

  3. 03

Greater opportunities for young people to develop skills and pursue their ambitions.

  4. 04

Stronger support for women, entrepreneurs, traders, and local businesses.

  5. 05

Improved roads, drainage, street lighting, sanitation, and other essential public infrastructure.

  6. 06

Transparent oversight and responsible management of public resources.

  7. 07

Safer, cleaner, and more environmentally responsible neighbourhoods.

  8. 08

Stronger cooperation between residents, community organisations, and public institutions.

Achieving this vision requires consultation, cooperation, realistic planning, and consistent follow-up. We recognise that sustainable progress depends on working with residents, the county government, national government agencies where appropriate, and other relevant stakeholders.

Our commitment is to advocate for these priorities, promote accountability, and keep residents informed about progress and challenges.

The Power of the People

More than one individual.
It's all of us.

Our campaign is about the people of Kitisuru, their aspirations, their concerns, and their right to meaningful representation. Lasting progress begins when residents have the opportunity to participate, contribute ideas, raise concerns, and help shape the future of their communities.

We welcome young people, women, professionals, entrepreneurs, community leaders, families, and all residents who share a vision for a better Kitisuru.
